While the vast majority of .eco domains are offered at the standard price, the registry maintains an inventory of premium domains.
Pricing model
The .eco registry operates a high-low premium pricing model. The premium price applies only to CREATEs and all premium domains renew at the standard .eco wholesale price.
We have established a small set of standard premium pricing tiers. For information about these pricing tiers, please contact us at registrars@bigroom.eco.
Working with premium domains
In order to register, renew or check the price of a premium domains via EPP, it's important to use one of the supported EPP fee extensions:
We recommend using EPP Fee-1.0.
The fee extension that you wish to use needs to be included as a <svcExtension> in the EPP login command. If multiple versions of the EPP fee extension are included, the most recent supplied version will be used for the session.
Premium domain list
The .eco registry makes updates to its premium inventory on a regular basis. This may include adding, removing, or repricing premium domains. We recommend price checks over EPP at the time of registration to confirm the accurate CREATE price. Major changes will be announced via our registrar newsletter.
If you require a full list of premium domains, the current list can be accessed by accredited registrars via the registry portal. After logging in, navigate to Admin > Reports to you can download a CSV containing the current list of .eco premiums and their associated prices.
Testing premium domains
Many of the .eco premium domains have been loaded into the OT&E environment. You are welcome to test interacting with premium domains in OT&E. However, please do not register a large number of premiums so that they are available for other registrar partners to test.
